Innari
(Northern)
Innari (also known as Northern) is the official language spoken throughout the North. It evolved through a mix between Elphin and Innin dialects, with influences from local language traditions throughout the North. Although it’s the official language, it is only sees daily use by the Innin and in correspondence with foreigners. Only about 20% of the population of the North speak Innari. Instead each tribe has their own language, with a large variety of dialects and linguistic differences existing within each tribe.

It is commonly believed that the naming of a child holds special meaning. Children are named after animals, plants and weather phenomenons, that are believed to inhabit the newborn with their spirit.
